Dylan Donaldson, known as Zertox, recently shared breakdown of his latest 3D project "Anuket", and the result is nothing short of mind-blowing. In this video, Dylan shows the creative process behind his work, revealing just how much detail and effort go into making each scene look so realistic.
Unlike some of his other projects, Dylan didn't create many 3D assets from scratch this time. Instead, he used models from resources like BigMediumSmall and Quixel. This allowed him to focus on the other aspects of the project—things like terrain generation, animations, and a variety of cool simulations, including dust and liquid. He also digs into the finer details, like setting the scene, scattering elements, and creating the perfect atmosphere.
The project was developed using a variety of software, including Blender, Houdini, Liquigen, Gaea, After Effects, and Photoshop. His dedication to every tiny detail shows in the final product, and it’s clear how much care he puts into his work.
Here are a few more works of Dylan.
